How to read this

Every team's season as a shape. All 30 share one baseline: wins build upward, losses hang downward, and games still to play hang from the ceiling. A good season is literally tall and a bad one is literally deep, so you read the league without parsing a single number.

• Every box is one game, and every box is the same height across the page — the towers are to scale with each other.
• The slider replays the season game by game, and the teams re-sort live as records change.
• The NBA Cup Championship does not count toward a team's record, so it is not in these towers. It is on the team's card in the Film.
• A team's colour is its own, except where the primary is near-black (Brooklyn, San Antonio) and the secondary reads better.
